Whisky Trail
The Royal Burgh of Forres is home to 2 Malt
Whisky distilleries, The Benromach Distillery and the Dallas Dhu
Distillery. These are both open to visitors, discover the process
behind making Scottish Malt whisky .
Sueno's Stone
The Forres area is steeped in history, to
the east end of the town stands a monument from the Pictish era,
the mysterious and magnificent 'Suenos Stone' which stands over
22 foot tall. It is the largest know Pictish sculptured stone in
the world.

Park - Scotland in Bloom Awards
Forres is well known for its award
winning floral sculptures & displays which attract many tourists
each year, the town is proud of its previous achievments in the
Scotland in Bloom & Britain in Bloom competitions and has received
many awards over the years.
Nelson's Tower and Cluny Hill
Standing
high on the hill behind Grant Park is Nelson's Tower, opened in
1812 to commemorate Admiral Nelson's victory at the Battle of Trafalgar
in 1805 it was the first memorial in Britain to be built in honour
of Lord Nelson, Open seasonally, the climb to the top of the tower
is well worth the view over the Moray Firth.
Randolph's Leap
A few miles to the south of Forres is the beauty spot of Randolph's
Leap on the River Findhorn, sign-posted walks through ancient forests
and rocky gorges, why not stop in at the Logie Steading which is
closeby. Logie Steadings was originally built as a model farm in
the 1920s, it has now been converted to present quality for
visitors and offers home-baking and light lunches in the tea room,
arts & craft shops.
Brodie Castle - Near Dyke
Situated about 4 miles to the west of forres just off the A96 before
Brodie. Brodie Castle is open to the public and is famous for its
unique collection of Daffodils, the castle is also renowned for
its impressive art collection.
Findhorn Bay
4 miles from Forres is Findhorn Bay, A picturesque coastal village
with miles of white sandy beaches, the area is also popular for
walking, sailing and bird watching.
