
Forres has it's own great golf course, Muiryshade, designed by James Braid and Willie Park the course has been host to the Northern Open 2000 and also the Scottish professional championship.
The course is situated approx 1/2 mile from the Forres town centre and is an 18 hole, 6,141 yards, par 70 set on rolling parkland with wooded areas, it is open to visitors except on competition days.

There is no shortage of golf courses in the Moray coast area and all offer very different experiences and challenges, for both novices and professionals.
